Peter Bergendy has been one of the leading directors of cutting edge advertising in Hungary for the last three decades. He picked up all the major national awards in advertising.

Gabor Hellebrandt has been in several commercials, music videos, and films as an actor (St.Hubertus, Alvajárók, ‘The Exam’). He was also the writer and creative director of many multiple-award-winning commercials (Zwack Unicum, Zwack Vilmos, St.Hubertus). Hellebrandt is a G1 level Krav Maga fighter, an urban dance world champion silver medalist, as well as a martial arts, dance and movement choreographer. As a producer, he is a member of the Hungarian Film Academy.

Bergendy’s feature film ‘The Exam’ was awarded the Gold Hugo price for newcomer director at the Chicago International Film Festival 2012. The National Film Institute chose it as one of the Basic Hungarian Films. His long awaited third feature 'Trezor' has won eight Hungarian Film Awards, in Hungarian Film Week 2019, and it was nominated for an International Emmy^® Award in 2019. Hellebrandt was the creative supervisor of this historical thriller.

The Bergendy & Hellebrandt creative partners' latest feature film ‘Post Mortem’ is apparently the first Hungarian horror ever made. It was Hungary’s official entry for the Oscars^® in 2022. So far, the film was screened on 48 international film festivals, selected for 24 main official competitions, and won 29 awards. ‘Post Mortem’ was dubbed into 11 languages. It was the best-selling Hungarian movie around the world in 2021. Its distribution rights were purchased for nearly 140 countries from Great Britain through Russia to India, from the Americas through to Japan and Oceania.

‘Post Mortem’ was directed by Peter Bergendy. Gabor Hellebrandt is responsible for the inception of the film and is also its creative producer and its ghost.

In 2020 Peter Bergendy was awarded the national Balázs Béla Prize for his outstanding services in the arts and motion pictures.

Hellebrandt Gábor az elmúlt 30 évben több reklámban, videoklipben és filmben szerepelt színészként (például St. Hubertus-reklámok, Alvajárók, A vizsga), valamint számos, többszörösen díjnyertes reklámfilm írója és creative directora (például Unicum-reklámok, Vilmos, St. Hubertus). Hellebrandt G1-szintű krav-magás és urban dance világbajnoki ezüstérmes, valamint harci-, tánc- és mozgáskoreográfus. Bergendy filmrendezőként A vizsga című mozifilmjével elnyerte a Chicago International Film Festival, az amerikai kontinens vezető filmfesztiváljának Gold Hugo díját a newcomer rendezők versenyében 2012-ben. A filmet a Nemzeti Filmintézet beválasztotta a Magyar Alapfilmek közé. Trezor című harmadik filmjét – melynek kreatív supervisora Hellebrandt Gábor – 8 Magyar Filmdíjjal jutalmazták a Magyar Filmhéten, és Nemzetközi Emmy^®-díjra jelölték 2019-ben New Yorkban.

A Bergendy & Hellebrandt alkotópáros Post Mortem című, legutóbbi filmje – mely lényegében az első magyar horrorfilm – Magyarország Oscar^®-nevezettje volt 2022-ben, eddig már eljutott 48 nemzetközi filmfesztiválra, ahol 24 hivatalos fő versenyprogramban szerepelt és 29 filmdíjat zsebelt be. A 11 nyelvre szinkronizált Post Mortem 2021-ben a legtöbb országba értékesített magyar film lett. Közel 140 ország részére vásárolták meg a filmforgalmazás jogait a teljes amerikai kontinenstől Oroszországon át Japánig, Nagy-Britanniától Indián át Óceániáig.
